Overview of the Position: We are seeking a highly technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This position has been created to support our expanding portfolio and to drive the technical collaboration of our field and engineering teams to bring the highest utilization of our cutting-edge products to the market. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert with a deep understanding of Product Security, Compliance and regulations, Linux, and secure coding practices,, who can provide robust technical solutions to our clients. We need someone with a hard technical edge who can assist our sales team in pursuing and securing business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise: Utilize deep technical knowledge in Linux, coding practices, and product security to address client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Deep Industry Understanding: Maintain the constantly up to date knowledge set of Automotive, Medical device, and industrial product security regulations impacting our client markets.
  • Product Expertise: Familiarity with the Cybellum platform and capabilities to a deep level, enabling the smooth interface between market needs and product positioning. 
  • Product Interface: Manage the interface of feature requests, upcoming releases, and product fit to the markets served. Covering cross domain use cases for a high level understanding, and interface with the Product management team for deeper understanding regularly. 
  • Solution Focused: Provide technical solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each client, ensuring optimal product security and integration.
  • L2 Pre and Post Sales Support: Engage in both pre-sales and post-sales activities, ensuring a seamless transition and ongoing support for clients.
  • Location: Based in the United States - preferably Eastern time zone.
  • Remote Work: This role is 80% remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our team and clients.


Requirements

  • Technical: A technical professional with a strong approach, ready to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working with Automotive Tier 1, OEM, and automotive cybersecurity sectors, as well as Medical Device Manufacturer. Experience with FDA, 21434, R155, EU MDR, EN 62304
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SDLC, PLM, secure coding, Linux, AUTOSAR, TARA, CSMS, SUMS, and penetration testing.
  • Customer Facing: This is a customer facing role and this position will require managing the customer through the technical phases of the sales cycle including Demo's, POC's and technical alignments.  
  • No Leadership Required: This role does not involve team leadership responsibilities, allowing for a focus on technical excellence.
